Daily Scriptures 3/6/14

Scripture: I Thessalonians 5:25 Brothers and sisters, pray for us. (NIV)

Nugget: There’s nothing like having a core group of people who can pray for you. These are the people you turn to when requesting prayer, guidance, & support. These are the people who can tell you the truth, tell it like it is, & send up a prayer for you with no hesitation. They are a rare find, but when you have them, there’s nothing they wouldn’t do for you & vice versa.

Begin examining your relationships & friendships to determine if you have this core group around you; additionally, are you being the same core to someone else?

Quote: “Having a prayer partner will not take away the bumps on the journey of life, but it can make the experience more tolerable.” -Kenneth Kuykendall

Hi Lisi! I used to be a part of a small group. We all prayed for each other, and we knew each other so well. Such an immense gift and blessing from the Lord.

But now, I don't have that. I think you have made me think about needing that in my life. Not only asking a group for prayer, but being that person too.
Thank you!
